New here? This is the quick version of how EvoMarket works, whether you came to fill holes in a binder or to sell down a collection.
Buying
Finding cards
Search from the homepage or the browse page. You can type a card name, a misspelled card name (we’re forgiving), a set code like SV8, or a full printing code like OP11-118. Searching an exact card name shows every printing of that card, so you can pick the exact version you want. Every card page shows the market price, a price history graph you can filter by condition and finish, and every live listing from our sellers.
Checkout and shipping
Checkout runs through Stripe. We never see your card number, and you can save a card for next time if you want to. Shipping is a flat fee per seller based on the value of your order from that seller: $1.49 under $20, $6 up to $250, and $10 above $250, where a signature is required on delivery. There are no surprise fees added at the end.
After you order
Sellers ship within two business days of payment. Tracking shows up on your order page the moment the seller marks it shipped, and every order is covered by EvoMarket Safeguard. If something arrives that isn’t what you bought, you file a claim from the order page and a real person sorts it out.
Selling
Applying
Selling on EvoMarket starts with an application. We only onboard real local game stores and established online sellers, which is a big part of why buyers trust the site. If that’s you, hit Become A Seller in the top bar and tell us about your store. A person reviews every application, usually within a business day or two.
Once you’re approved there are two quick setup steps before your first listing: connect payouts through Stripe (this verifies your identity and bank details, and it’s where your money lands) and accept the seller agreement. Both live on your seller dashboard and take a few minutes total.
Listing your inventory
You can list cards three ways:
- One at a time, from any card page or your dashboard. Pick the printing, condition, finish, price, and quantity. Takes a few seconds per card.
- Bulk upload, from a CSV or Excel file. If you already have a TCGplayer inventory export, upload it exactly as it comes out and we’ll match it to our catalog. A plain spreadsheet with card name, set, number, condition, price, and quantity works too.
- Shopify sync. Connect your Shopify or BinderPOS store and inventory, orders, and tracking stay in sync both ways. Sell a card in your shop and the EvoMarket listing updates on its own, and the other way around.
Grade conservatively. Our condition guide (linked from every listing form) is the standard buyers expect, and honest grading is the fastest way to build a store buyers come back to.
Shipping an order
When something sells, you’ll get an email and the order shows up on your dashboard with a ship-by date. The commitment is simple: ship within two business daysof payment, with tracking, in packaging that protects the card. The buyer already paid the shipping fee at checkout and it’s passed through to you in your payout, so shipping never eats into your sale price. Orders over $250 need a signature at delivery.
Getting paid
Fees are one number: 10% + $0.30per sale, already including card processing. We don’t take a cut of shipping, and there are no listing fees. The listing form shows your exact payout before you publish, so there’s never math to do after the fact.
Payouts release after the buyer’s order is delivered, plus a short hold window (seven days for orders under $500, fourteen at or above). From there the money moves to your bank through Stripe. Your dashboard shows every shipment’s payout status the whole way.
A few extras worth knowing about
- Collection Tracker lets you log what you own and watch its value move with the market.
- Price alertsemail you when a card you’re watching drops below your target price.
- The Cart Optimizer takes a want list and figures out the cheapest combination of sellers to buy it from, shipping included.
That’s the tour. If you get stuck on anything, the contact page reaches a real person, usually the same day.
