EvoMarket Safeguard
Every order you place through EvoMarket is protected. If your cards arrive wrong, arrive damaged, or never show up, you’re covered for a refund or a replacement.
What is EvoMarket Safeguard?
Safeguard is our buyer-protection guarantee. It covers every order bought and paid for through EvoMarket checkout, at no extra cost to you. If a shipment doesn’t turn up, or the cards inside aren’t what the listing promised, you can file a claim straight from your order. A real person reviews every claim, and we work with the seller to make it right.
What’s covered
It never arrived
Tracking stalls or the package is clearly overdue and the seller can't resolve it? You get a full refund.
Not as described
Wrong card, a condition worse than listed, a missing item, or any other mismatch from the listing.
Arrived damaged
The card or packaging showed up damaged in transit. Send photos and we'll refund or replace from the seller's stock.
Guaranteed authentic
Every card is sold as genuine. Suspect a counterfeit or proxy? File an authenticity claim and you're covered for a full refund.
Every card is guaranteed authentic
Sellers on EvoMarket agree that every card they list is a genuine, unaltered card from its official publisher, never a counterfeit, proxy, or reprint passed off as the real thing. Knowingly listing a fake is a serious violation of the seller agreement.
If you believe a card you received isn’t authentic, open the order, choose “Item may not be authentic” when you report the problem, and email clear photos (front, back, and any detail that looks off) to support@evolvedmarket.com with your order ID. We take authenticity claims seriously: if a card is confirmed counterfeit you get a full refund, and sellers found to have sold a fake have their listings pulled and their account removed.
How to file a claim
Open your order and report the problem
Go to your orders, open the one with the issue, and click “Report a problem” on the shipment. Claims are per-shipment, so if an order came from more than one seller you file against just the one that went wrong.
Tell us what happened
Pick what went wrong (didn’t arrive, not as described, or damaged) and describe it. For a damage or mismatch claim, email photos of the card and packaging to support@evolvedmarket.com with your order ID so we can review them.
The seller gets a chance to make it right
Filing notifies the seller automatically. They can respond, arrange a replacement, or resolve it with you directly. Many issues are sorted at this step.
We step in if it's not resolved
If the seller can't or doesn't resolve it, EvoMarket support reviews the claim, the seller's response, and any tracking or photos, then decides. When a claim is resolved in your favor, we refund your original payment method. You don't chase anyone for the money.
Deadlines & timeframes
- Damaged, not as described, or not authentic: file within 7 days of delivery so the card can be verified.
- Never arrived: file as soon as the package is clearly overdue or tracking stops updating. You don’t have to wait a set number of days.
- Seller response: the seller is notified the moment you file and has a few days to respond before we step in.
- Our review: we aim to resolve every claim within 5 business days.
What happens after you file
Your claim opens as under review. You can track its status, and the seller’s reply, right on the order page, and you can withdraw a claim any time before it’s decided. Every claim ends one of two ways:
- Resolved in your favor: we refund your original payment method, or the seller ships a replacement. Refunds cover that shipment’s items, the shipping you paid for it, and its share of any sales tax.
- Denied: if the claim isn’t supported after review, we’ll explain why.
If a seller can’t ship a replacement and a refund can’t be issued for a technical reason, EvoMarket steps in and makes you whole directly.
Returns of correctly-described cards (for example, buyer’s remorse) are at the seller’s discretion. Many sellers accept them within 30 days; the listing page says when they do.
What we don’t cover
- Damage that happens after the card is delivered to you.
- Buyer’s remorse or a change of mind on a correctly-described card (returns are up to the seller).
- Damage or mismatch claims filed more than 7 days after delivery.
- Off-platform deals. Only orders placed through EvoMarket checkout are protected. Never pay a seller outside the site.
